New York State Driver License Requirement – PLEASE NOTE

We are required to enter information from your Driver License on any New York State Returns filed. If you renewed your license during the past year, please make sure you bring the Driver License for yourself (and your spouse, if married) when we meet for your tax preparation appointment, so there will be no delay in e-filing your return. If you bring photocopies – please copy BOTH SIDES of each license. This mandate is designed to deter fraud and identity theft.
